Erin Scully

Erin was born and raised in upstate New York. The dance bug first bit her when she was out west in college. She has trained in partnership dance and biomechanics under Jeffrey Lynn since 2006. Since Erin has trained in biomechanics she is skilled in teaching connection and balanced movement in partner dance. Her main goal however is to just make sure her students walk out of their lessons feeling comfortable and confident in their dancing.

She moved to Chicago in March of 2018 to train with her professional partner Andrew Belbin and has been teaching at Dance Center Chicago ever since. Currently Erin and Andrew are competing in Rising Star and Open Professional Rhythm divisions on the pro-ballroom circuit.

Erin teaches both group classes and private lessons here at the studio. She specializes in all styles within Ballroom, but also teaches salsa and swing.
