Private Lesson Cancellation Policies
To cancel or reschedule a private lesson, contact Dance Center Chicago as soon as possible via email or phone, 773-880-5044 .
If we have confirmed a lesson for you, we are turning away other requests for that day and time. Upon occasion, we are able to fill a canceled lesson within 24 hours. If we can do it, we will, and you will not be penalized. But that’s not the norm, so we strongly suggest you read the cancellation policies below to avoid any penalties.

All notifications of cancellation or rescheduling must be received 24-hours prior to the scheduled start time of your lesson.
If you cancel with less notice than outlined above, you will be charged the standard fee for a private lesson, gift certificate or one “punch” from your package.
If your partner unexpectedly can not make your lesson, we highly encourage you to attend. Since leading and following are equally important and challenging, you (and your partner) will ultimately benefit from the personalized focus on the individual role.
If you have purchased a 5-lesson package and would like to cancel the remaining lessons on the package, you may be eligible for a partial refund due to pro-longed illness, injury or out of area move. Your refund will be calculated by taking the a la carte purchase price of lessons already taken or scheduled*, less a $15 change fee.
For example, if you purchase a 5-lesson package for $275 and complete 3 of the lessons, the credit issued will be calculated as follows: $275 – ($60*3) – $15 = $80
