Practice Space
Is your kitchen too small to dance in? Ours too!
Therefore, we are happy to offer a roomier option for Chicago’s social dance community. You may now pay a discounted rate for shared floor time in the ballroom, so that you can practice with a partner or classmates right here at the studio. Dancers are invited to bring their music on CD to rotate in with others, or bring your ipod and tune out the world while you refine your technique and style.
Ballroom Availability:
Mondays 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Tuesdays Noon – 10:00pm
Wednesdays 5:00 – 8:00pm and 9:00 – 10:00pm
Thursdays Noon – 10:00pm
Fridays 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturdays 10am – 7:00pm
Sundays 10am – 7:00pm
Hourly Rates
$5 hourly, per person
1-hour minimum, charged in 30-minute increments after the first hour
Check in with the desk staff upon arrival and departure.
Payments
Payments are due upon checkout with the desk staff.
We gladly accept MasterCard, Visa or Discover for charges of $20 or more.
Unlimited Monthly Practice Pass
$30/person – Purchase
$60/couple – Purchase
Monthly passes activate on the 1st day of the calendar month and expire the last day of the calendar month.
Please note: The practice pass applies to the ballroom only. Private rooms may be reserved at an additional cost.
Music
Be sure to bring your favorite tunes with you on an iPod or CD.
Reservations are Not Necessary
Reservations are not necessary. You are invited to just drop in and dance.
If you ever have any questions regarding availability, please do not hesitate to call or email ahead of time.
Sharing the Space
Those who are practicing are invited and encouraged to play music, however we ask that you kindly defer to any instructors present.
If you prefer exlusive use of a space, you may reserve one of our private studios.
Lessons with Freelance Instructors
You are welcome to take a lesson with your instructor here at our studio. You have several options depending upon your need for space, music and privacy.
- Shared space on the ballroom floor – $12/hour
- Reserving a Private Studio – $12 – $25/hour
